![]() I login and whip open task manager to check things out. Finally, after updating it restarts again and after about a minute of black screen shows a log on. Yikes! I wait 5 minutes, then it restarts again and this time says “updating 30%”. so I hard reset and it boots to a black screen with no logon. top suggestions says to try a hard reset. I start to get worried and google what to do. It doesn’t say updating it just says restarting. However, my computer gets stuck on the restart screen for 30 minutes. That just means theirs an update my computer needs to install right? So I decide to restart the computer so the update will finish faster. So I opened up task manager and BAM their it is- 100% disk usage, mostly being hogged by Microsoft Update Module Installer. Well, about an hour ago I noticed a ton of lag while browsing the web. It’s a Dell Inspiron laptop running Windows 10. ![]() So I’ve been using my computer all day no problem.
